Cabbage Sukke

Cabbage - 1 cups chopped
Potato - 1/2 cup chopped
Water- 1/2 cup
Jaggery - 1 Tbsp
Salt to taste

Tadka-
Mustard Seeds- 1 tsp
Turmeric-1/2 tsp
Curry Leaves-1 sprig
Hing - a pinch
Coconut Oil -2 Tbsp

To fry with a little oil:
Coriander seeds - 2 tsp
Methi seeds- 1/2 tsp
red chilly-4-5
Urad dal- 2 tsp

Grind together:
Coconut - 1/2 cup
Tamarind paste -1 tsp
Plus fried ingredients above.

Method:
Heat oil in a kadai. Do the tadka. Add the chopped vegetables, salt and water. Cover and cook on low heat until soft. Grind the fried ingredients, coconut and tamarind together and add to the cooked vegetables. Mix well and cook for a few more minutes.
