Sia's Menthe Chutney for T&T

Tried & Tasted ia an event hosted by Zlamushka, who's blog is a one-stop-shop for recipes from all over the world. Each month she features a blog that she invites everybody to try & taste dishes from. This month happens to be my friend, Sia's. Sia is an artist who creates wonderful dishes and showcases them in pictures that are to-die-for. I've tried a few of her recipes and they have all been wonderful. For this event, I tried her Menthe Chutney, which was delicious with plain rice & ghee. I even used is as a spead in a sandwich and it was so good! Thanks for the wonderful recipe, Sup and thanks Zlamushka, for hosting this wonderful event!

I'm on a mission to update my old posts with newer pictures that are non-blurry, better focused and definitely more interesting! Here's my latest update - carrot & beans palya. Recipe can be found here.

Jayashree- It was really good, J! Do try it. M is doing well. She has a residual cough/cold which started off as a stomach bug. But she's getting much better each day.

Usha- thanks :)

ISG - yes it was delicious! Carrot & beans palya makes it's appearacne in manay forms in our house too. It's such a good combi, isn;t it? Sometimes add potatoes too.

Vegetable Platter - it was very tasty! Kinda sweetish with the jaggery/brownsugar. But it should go well with dosas & idlies as well.

Raaji- do try it. It's simple enough & yummy too :)

Sup - That's exactly how I had it -hot steaming rice & thuppa. I made tons of it & had some leftover - made bendekayi gojju out of it! :) Thanks for the lovely recipe, Sup!

Sunshinemom- thanks and yeah, the move to newer pics are much required! Some of the old ones really need good tweaking! :)

Srilekha- thanks and it was :)

Vani,

Fantastic chutney. Looks so yummy, I love the smell of roasted fenugreek seeds. Almost like nuts.
