Happy New Year! May 2010 bring happiness and joy in your lives in plenty!
Been back in India for a few weeks now. Traveling quite a bit, catching up with family and friends. And eating a LOT of yummy stuff along the way! Will post pictures soon. We're now looking for a house to rent in Bangalore and researching into schools for Little M. I had a lot of help from family and also from a blogger friend, whose suggestions have been invaluable.
The other bit of news is that we're expecting our second baby in April. Excited about that! I researched into hospitals for the delivery even before we moved to India. From reviews online and based on experiences of some of my family, I zeroed in on a hospital called "The Cradle" in South Bangalore. I was quite impressed with the hospital, it's facilities and the staff on my first visit. This hospital specializes in delivery, maternal and fetal care. The doctor I chose was very easy to talk to and took time to ask and answer a lot of my questions. Overall I am quite happy with my choices (so far).
I am looking forward to finalizing a house and settling down again! Travel and staying with fam is all fine and good but I realize I need to have a place I can call my own, to feel settled.

Congrats!! Cradle is a good choice for south Bangalore.. quite a few in my family had their babies there. The cost can be pretty steep though.

Congratulations Vani, this is great news :) Have a great year ahead..Have heard Cradle is really good..Hope you settle in soon and are ready for the new arrival ! If you are looking for a school in South Bangalore, Kumarans comes highly recommended..My mom's friend knows a lot about schools there, can put you in touch with her if you are interested...let me know

Congratulations Vani! Happy New Year! Bangalore is surely a lovely place to settle down in. And I've seen Cradle several times as I've driven past...my in laws live in Jayanagar. It's a new hospital but I've heard from many friends that it is very good, so good choice :) There are many lovely stores in Bangalore to shop for home decor...of course the scene may have changed drastically now and I'm not really updated, but lemme know if you are looking for something in particular, I may be able to recollect some nice places :)Anyways, good luck with everything!
